AAS Group Construction recently completed a major civil engineering and groundworks project featuring a professional Rootlok retaining wall in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. To combat severe soil erosion and permanently stabilise a long perimeter boundary, our team designed and installed a high-performance, engineered slope solution that blends structural strength with a natural, green finish.

The Challenge & Project Overview

The property faced significant earth movement and active soil erosion along a 50-metre embankment directly adjacent to residential boundary lines and timber fencing. Traditional concrete or timber retaining options were unsuitable here, both for aesthetic reasons and cost. A vegetated retaining wall offered the ideal balance of engineering performance and environmental sensitivity, which is why our team specified the Rootlok wall system for this scheme.
